Choose to stop (Välj att sluta)
Choose to stop (Välj att sluta) is a national confidential phoneline offering advice, information and support in order to prevent you from being violent and abusive to your partner, children or ex-partner.
The service is run by The County Administrative Board of Stockholm and operated by Manscentrum Stockholm (a crisis centre for men).
We are a team of skilled professionals offering advice, information and support to perpetrators of domestic violence, as well as to their partners and frontline workers.
The service is available to people in the whole country.

If you are worried that someone else will discover that you have called Choose to stop (Välj att sluta), delete the number from your phone as soon as you end the call.
If you need emergency help and there is a danger to someone's life, call 112.
A voicemail service is available: we aim to return calls within two working days. We also aim to reply to emails within two working days.
We offer telephone interpreting to enable those who speak other languages than Swedish to access our helpline. Simply ask for a telephone interpreter when you call us – and tell us which language you need and wait in the telephone.
